Owner Diaries

As part of Edip’s vision to transform the African continent, we created our unique video series dubbed ‘Owner diaries’ that seeks to:

Share knowledge and insights on best practices and heuristics to aid SMEs to improve their business performance.

Improve leadership capacity and key decision-makers in SMEs.

Equip SMEs with knowledge about their ecosystem and emerging trends to aid them to achieve their business goals.

Build a community of key stakeholders that recognize the emerging challenges of the SME ecosystem.

Relevance of the series

We believe that:

SMEs need their capacity built to do better by themselves without perpetually relying on external consultants.

SMEs need to be empowered to be independent.

In most SMEs, the owner-managers and founders/cofounders are the most competent people in the firm. This prevents the leadership in SMEs from delegating effectively and trusting the competence of staff. The podcast is aimed at building the competence of all key decision-makers in the SME, from top-level leaders to middle and frontline managers in the business.
